Recentry Hawaii is gtting hotter and hotter!
最近ﾊﾜｲは日に日に暑くなってきています。

but I cannot complain about this hotness because Japanese summer is way hotter than it is in Hawaii.
しかし、日本の夏と比べたら、ハワイの夏の暑さに文句は言えませんね。。

Today I introduce you Sudare. which is shade( like a curtain).
本日は日本のカーテン的存在である、すだれをご紹介いたします。



If you see Japanese houses many of them have Sudare to keep away strong sunshine.
日本の家をご覧になってくだされば、よくすだれを見ることが出来ると思います。すだれは直射日光を避けてくれる優れものです。

It is very cool.
そしてとても涼しいんです。

When the wind come through window, sudare is made out of plant and they have space between so it doesn't block wind to come inside.
通常のカーテンはあまり風を通してくれませんが、すだれは植物でできているので、網目に隙間がたくさんあり、風の通りを遮断しません。


Therefore you can get a sunshade as well as nice and cold wind in to your house.
よって、すだれは、日光を避けるだけでなく、涼しい風までも運んでくれるのです。
素晴らしいでしょ？
