 Lovely Chopstick Rests 🥢

A chopstick rest is used like a knife rest or a spoon rest in Japan.  The Hashioki  箸置き in Japanese beautifully decorates your table and keeps chopsticks 箸 hygienically away from the table while you enjoy eating dishes. 

There are various shapes and colors made from clay, wood, glass, or porcelain.

The long shape ones can be used a folk/knife rest, too.

We have many chopsticks and chopstick rests which are popular as a small and lovely gift.

 👞🩴👠 Shoe rack at entrance of your lovely home?

People who live in Hawaii have a unique custom, shoes-off-by-the-door. 

The custom was adapted from Japanese immigrants and it has become a common sense in Hawaii now.

In Japan most of the houses and apartments have large shoe rack/shelf/cabinet so the entryway can be always tidy and clean.

In our showroom there are two beautiful shoe cabinets imported from Japan.

They both have adjustable shelves so it is easy to stock many shoes.

ハワイに根付いている日本の習慣のひとつに、玄関で靴を脱ぐ　というマナーがあります。

アメリカの住宅には見かけない 👞🩴👠靴箱（下駄箱）は、エントランスをきれいに保つためにも便利な家具。

🌸 Sakura season on the way!  Spring is just around the corner!!

Sakura  桜🌸 known as cherry blossoms, is one of the most famous and beautiful flowers because of the ephemeral, delicate, and transient beauty.

Sakura usually blooms fully for only one week in a year. Across the diverse landscape of Japan’s islands, this period varies from March to early May. 

Japanese excitedly talk about the timing of Sakura blooming every year and enjoy Hanami 花見-sakura viewing.

We have many dishes and  designed with sakura-cherry blossoms- in our showroom.

Do you know that Kagawa prefecture in Shikoku Island of Japan is famous for Sanuki Udon?

Sannaka-West’s HQ is located in Takamatsu, Kagawa, so we sell the authentic udon in our show room. Sanuki Udon is characterized by its firm, chewy texture, made with a specific type of wheat.

There are nearly 600 udon restaurants in small Kagawa pref. , so is known as “UDON” pref.

This Sanuki Udon for 2 servings comes with 3 packs of condensed soup. The recipe is simple but you would be surprised at the flavorful udon noodles in the light and healthy soup.

Our showroom is open on weekends from 10 am to 5 pm .

弊社の本社がある香川県は言わずと知れた讃岐うどんの本場。

コシのある半生うどんとさっぱりした旨みのある出汁がついた二人前のセットを直輸入して販売中です。
