We have delivered one of the Mingei Tansu we had in our store on the other day!
Mingei Tansu has history that they were used a lot in Edo era to store katana, important documents or books securely.
For the material, it is using zelkova for exterior and paulownia wood.
Zelkova has beautiful grain design and paulownia is very light and shrinkage co-efficient is very low as their features.
We only carry unused brand new tansu so they fit nicely in both Japanese style rooms and modern style rooms.

先日は民芸タンスのデリバリーを行いました。
民芸タンスは江戸時代によく刀や重要書類などを収納するために使われていたとされ、見た目などもすごく気品の高い箪笥となっております。
マテリアルは外面が欅、内側に桐を使っております。
欅の美しい木目や、桐のとても軽量で木の伸縮も極めて少ないことが特徴です。
弊社では未使用の新品の家具のみを取り扱っているため、日本スタイルのお部屋にはもちろん、モダンなお部屋にも馴染みやすく和のアクセントを楽しむことができます。
