Shoji measurement at house C

Thank you for choosing Sannaka West.

We have been to the house C this week for shoji measurement.

This amazingly designed Japanese style house already has shoji doors and windows, and the owner has requested to check if we can replace some of the shoji frames, paper, and adjust the doors to move smoothly.

The frames and shoji paper that we use are all from Japan, and you also have an option to choose Warlon sheets instead of shoji paper which is plastic and stronger than the papers.

The house has shoji for windows too, but we also can use glass panels and Warlon sheets together to make sure the windows are waterproof and still keep the shoji style.

We checked the house with a carpenter to see what would be the best process to be taken for the quality and price wise.

As we carefully listened the owners requsts and checked the site, we came up with some ideas to solve all of them.

There are more meetings that we need to go through, but we are really looking forward to seeing the newly installed shojis and the fresh Japanese room, Washitsu😀

今週は、C様邸へ障子ドアのリフォームの件で行って参りました。

こちらの素晴らしい和風デザインを持つお家にはすでに障子があり、そちらが古くなってきているためフレームや和紙の交換、また、スムーズにドアが開くようアジャストメントなどの要望がございました。

弊社が使用するフレームや和紙は全て日本製で、和紙の代わりにワーロンというプラスチック製のシートを使用することもできます。

こちらのお客様は窓にも障子を使用しているため、そういった場合にはガラスパネルとワーロンの組み合わせという風なことも可能です。

今後も打ち合わせなどがありますが、新しく綺麗な仕上がりの和室になることをとても楽しみにしております。
