Ninja was in demand until the end of Edo period.
忍者は幕末までは需要がありました。

But from around 1868, there was no demand for Ninja so that they needed to find a job.
ですが明治時代頃から需要はなくなり、彼らは新しい職を探さなければならなくなりました。
