We would like to announce that there will be new chairs coming in from Japan for this dining set Coron in the beggining of August!

These chairs with colorful seants with wooden legs in light color matching the dining table, are very popular and we we had to get some instock!

This time, x2 green and x2 orange chaires will be coming. (other color chairs can be ordered)

Table is in the store now so please feel free to stop by and take a look.

4 new lamps came in!

We now have new lamps in stock at our store!

First one as below is a brown compact Japanese lamp.

The washi (rice paper) looking sheets bring Japanese taste to it and make the lamp more special than others. Very convenient to move around are perfect for bedroom, living or dining area.

Second one is Maui floor lamp.

This one has zen taste and also matches nicely with Japanese furniture.

3 arms is one the features fo rthis lamp which takes a lot of space but makes your room lighter at the same time.

Third floor lamp also has 3 arms with Japanese style shades. This one, the size is almost the same as the Maui floor lamp. This lamp allows you to adjust the amount of lights you want to turn on with one switch.This matches very wel in Japanese style rooms such as shoji or tatami, but also matches with Westrn style houses.

Third one is a Tiffany floor lamp. This lapm holds 2 light valves and can turn them on and off by pulling down the chains that are coming down from the under the glass shade.

This fancy looking lamp would fit in a modern style room.

本日は、ランプのご紹介をさせていただきます。

まず一つ目は、置き型ブラウンのランプです。

こちらの商品は和紙の様に見えるところは実は和紙ではないことから丈夫で仕上がりもキレイという点などがございます。

二つ目は、3つアームが付いてあるMaui floor lampです。こちらの商品も、和や禅などのデザインがされおります。少し大きめのランプですので、スペースを取りますが、その分明るく、商品自体のデザイン性もとても高く人気の商品です。

三つ目も同じく3つアームが伸びております。こちらのランプは、スイッチ一つでランプの明るさの調整が3段階でできます。サイズ感はMauiランプに似ており、明るい空間を作ることが出来ます。

最後はティファニーフロアランプです。こちらの商品は電球が2つつき、シェードの下から出ているチェーンのスイッチを引っ張ることで調整できます。存在感のあるランプですので、部屋の雰囲気を明るくさせます。

Mingei Tansu delivery

We have delivered one of the Mingei Tansu we had in our store on the other day!

Mingei Tansu has history that they were used a lot in Edo era to store katana, important documents or books securely.

For the material, it is using zelkova for exterior and paulownia wood.

Zelkova has beautiful grain design and paulownia is very light and shrinkage co-efficient is very low as their features.

We only carry unused brand new tansu so they fit nicely in both Japanese style rooms and modern style rooms.

先日は民芸タンスのデリバリーを行いました。

民芸タンスは江戸時代によく刀や重要書類などを収納するために使われていたとされ、見た目などもすごく気品の高い箪笥となっております。
