I've realized that things which I used to do in Japan as usual are odd in U.S.
日本で普通のことがアメリカに来るとおかしいと思われることがあることに気付きました。

For example, bow while I'm on a phone.
例えば、電話中にお辞儀をすること、などです。

Then I found a website...
そしてとあるHPを見つけました。


You've Been In Japan Too Long When...

...you don't hesitate to put a $10 note into a vending machine.
(In Japan, you can trust the vending machine!)
...you start thinking can coffee tastes good.
(I have never seen can coffee in U.S. Please try one in Japan!)
...you pull up at a gas station and wait for a bunch of attendants to jump out and clean your windshield.
(In Japan, you don't need to do anything at a gas station. They will clean your windowshield and take your trash out from the car.)

etc.

外国人が日本に長くいすぎたなぁと思う時

自動販売機に１０００円札を入れるのをためらわない時
（外国ではおつりがちゃんと返って来ないことが多いので）
缶コーヒーも悪くないと思い始めた時
（アメリカで缶コーヒー見たことないです）
ガソリンスタンドに行って店員が窓を拭くのをただじっと待っている時
（こちらはセルフですよね？）

等など

I remember that I had a hard time to open the canned food by using the american can opener because it's different from Japanese one!
初めてアメリカの缶切りを使って缶詰を開けた時、日本のものと違うのでとっても苦労したのを思い出しました。
