How was your Valentine's day??
昨日のバレンタインデーはどうでしたか？
yes.. it was a Valentine's day yesterday.. Did you give someone a flower or anything special?
そうです！昨日はバレンタインデーだったんですよ！だれかにお花やプレゼントをあげましたか？
In Japan, Valentine's day is for the girls.
日本では、バレンタインデーとは女の子のチャンスの日です。
Mostly girls give a boys chocolate in Japan.. not opposite like in the US.
ほとんどの場合、女の子が男の子にチョコをあげるのが一般的です。アメリカのように逆のバージョンはありません＞＜
It's kind of sad because me(girls) cannot get a chocolate!!
ちょっとさびしいですね。。だって私も含めて、女の子はチョコをもらえないんですもの＞＜
I found out it's so interesting how boys express their love to the girls here in the US..It's good custom and I like it!!
アメリカではバレンタインデーに男の子が愛の告白を女の子にするという事を知って、とっても興味深く感じます。いい習慣ですよね！日本でもあれば良いのにな。。笑
anyway , yesterday, I was working but my room mate decided to leave to mainland so suddenly.. I was so shocked but thats her choice so I support her though.
ところで、昨日私のルームメイトが突然にアメリカ本土へ帰ることになりました。。とってもショックだったけど、彼女が決めた選択だから納得しています。
so I bought a small pouch for her in the Sannaka-West.
