Year of the Water Tiger began this month!
The Chinese zodiac was adopted in Japan in the 4th century.
According to the 12 year cycle the year, 2022 is the Year of the Tiger 🐅.
Our showroom has a hanging scroll -kakejiku-with a tiger drawn on the screen.
A kakejiku is a traditional hanging scroll that is mainly hang on the wall of Tokonoma. Kakejiku is usually painting that show the beautiful nature in Japan. They can be rolled up and put away when they are not being used.
There are several kekejiku scrolls of beauty of Japan in our showroom.
We also have a gorgeous wall hanging art of a tiger.
