Today I would like to talk about Arita-Yaki.
今日は有田焼についてお話したいとおもいます。

Arita-yaki is very famous in Japan. It is originated in Saga prefecture in Kyu-syu area.It was brought into Japan in 17th century from Korea.
有田焼は日本の焼物の中で一番有名といっても過言ではありません。有田焼は九州の佐賀県が発祥で、17世紀に韓国の焼物の技術が取り入れられ、その歴史をスタートしました。

Arita yaki is famous for it's delicate beauty!
有田焼は何と言っても、繊細な美しさが人気の秘密です。

We have many Aritayaki dishes in our store.
サンナカにはたくさんの有田焼のお皿などを置いております。

We just sold one of the tea pot and cup.
先日丁度有田焼の急須と茶碗を販売いたしました。



The customer who bought this said this is for his sister who is collecting tea pots.
買っていただいたお客様はティーポットを集めているお姉さんの誕生日プレゼントにするそうです。

what a wonderful present this is for her!
なんて素敵なプレゼントでしょう！

今日はい草についてお話したいと思います。

Also it calms your nerve too.
緊張を解いてくれる力もあります！

And it clean up the air too.
そして、空気をきれいにしてくれるんです

What a wonderful plant it is..
なんて素敵な植物なんでしょう～

we japanese loves rush and uses for many items such as Tatami, Goza..
私たち日本人はい草が大好きです。畳やゴザなど色んなものにい草を使っております。

We have both of them in stock now!

知ってますか？若いパリっ子たちまで畳を愛用して、畳の上で寝るのがはやっているらしいんです！

Today I would like to talk about AURA!
今日はオーラについてお話したいと思います！

Have you heard about it before?
オーラってきいたことありますか？

everyone has aura and it changes everyday!
誰もが持っていて、毎日変わるんですよ！

One day, the person who could see the aura told me..
ある日、オーラの見える方が私を見て、、、

You have green & Yellow aura today!
「あなたは今日緑と黄色ね！」とおっしゃいました。

I was very surprised to hear that.
私はとってもびっくりしました！

And He said the another day...
別の日には。。

You have brown today!
「今日は茶色よ！」とおっしゃいました。

I was so shocked!
茶色って。。私はショックでした＞＜


but do you know the colour which is the BEST??
ところで、どの色が一番いいか知っていますか？？

It's Purple!! In purple, there is a healing power!
それは紫色です!紫には癒しの力があるようですね！

so when I told about this story to one of my customers, when she was choosing her friend's present. She chose purple pouch for the present!
このお話をお客様にお話したところ、お客様はお友達にポーチを購入しようとしていたのですが、紫のものをお選びになりました！

but today, I accidentally hit my head on the coner of the table..
でも、今日は机の角に頭をぶつけてしまいました。。

It was soo hurt!
めっちゃ痛かったです！！


anyway, what do you think of these plate used for??

actually these are for the sample of the low table.
実はこれは座卓のサンプルなんですよ。

But many people ask us to sell it.
しかし、たくさんのお客様が売って欲しいとおっしゃいます。

but we can't.. these are for the display..
が、これはサンプルなんで売れないんです。。

NABE the japanese hot pot 鍋を試した事ありますか？

あろは～！

How are you today?
みなさんお元気でしょうか？

Actually I had a cold yesterday, but I had Japanese medicine so I got better!!
実は私、昨日風邪をひいてしまっったんですが、日本の薬を飲んだら元気になりました！

Be careful if you have sick person near you.. when they cough don't breath for a while! haha
もしあなたの周りに風邪をひいている人がいれば、気をつけてくださいね！咳き込んだときは息を止めてください！笑

Anyway, today I would like to explain NABE!!Why Nabe? because, when you have cold, it is so important to eat good food which is NABE!
とにかく、今日は鍋についてお話したいと思います。何で鍋なんだって？それは、風邪のときはしっかり栄養をつけないといけないので、鍋はぴったりだからです！


have you try hot pot dishes before?
鍋を試した事ありますか？

It is so healthy and very easy!
とーってもヘルシーで簡単なんですよ！

What you have to do is simply put anykinds of vegetables and meat and boil it until it cooked!
どうすればいいかというと、ただ何の野菜でもお肉でも良いので、鍋にいれて煮るだけです！


well the important thing for NABE is DASHI which is a soup for the hot pot.
でも、鍋にとって一番肝心なのは、ダシです！

If you mess up with dashi then it doesn't taste good.
もしダシが悪かったら、鍋は美味しくありません＞＜

I like chicken based soup and Kim chy soup!
私の場合、鶏がらスープやキムチスープが好きです。

You can buy dahi in Don quijote too!
ドンキホーテでもダシは買えますよ！

Sour & Sweet Valentine's day! バレンタインデー

How was your Valentine's day??
昨日のバレンタインデーはどうでしたか？

yes.. it was a Valentine's day yesterday.. Did you give someone a flower or anything special?
そうです！昨日はバレンタインデーだったんですよ！だれかにお花やプレゼントをあげましたか？

In Japan, Valentine's day is for the girls.
日本では、バレンタインデーとは女の子のチャンスの日です。

Mostly girls give a boys chocolate in Japan.. not opposite like in the US.
ほとんどの場合、女の子が男の子にチョコをあげるのが一般的です。アメリカのように逆のバージョンはありません＞＜

It's kind of sad because me(girls) cannot get a chocolate!!
ちょっとさびしいですね。。だって私も含めて、女の子はチョコをもらえないんですもの＞＜

I found out it's so interesting how boys express their love to the girls here in the US..It's good custom and I like it!!
アメリカではバレンタインデーに男の子が愛の告白を女の子にするという事を知って、とっても興味深く感じます。いい習慣ですよね！日本でもあれば良いのにな。。笑


anyway , yesterday, I was working but my room mate decided to leave to mainland so suddenly.. I was so shocked but thats her choice so I support her though.
ところで、昨日私のルームメイトが突然にアメリカ本土へ帰ることになりました。。とってもショックだったけど、彼女が決めた選択だから納得しています。

so I bought a small pouch for her in the Sannaka-West.
お別れするのに、なにか記念として渡したかったので、巾着をサンナカーウエストで購入しました。

I love the colour so much!It's called aizome!This is traditonal coloring style in Japan especially famous in Tokushima prefecture.
わたしはこの色がとっても気に入っています。これは藍染といって、日本で伝統的な染めの技術を使っています。特に、徳島県で有名ですよ！

when I gave her this pouch, she was soo happy!
このポーチをプレゼントしたら、彼女はとっても喜んでくれました。


It's always nice to give someone a present and see their smile right?
やっぱり誰かにプレゼントをあげて喜んだ顔を見るのはいいものですね！

It's makes me happy too!
